Amelia is 13 years young with a tough past.  She was recently found in a family home, emaciated and covered in fleas. To make matters more complicated, that was her THIRD home. Her first two owners were seniors who passed away – and left her to be passed on.  She is now well on her way to recovery, with recent blood tests, vaccinations, etc.

This intelligent girl wants affection and companionship. She will do best in a home with no other pets; she especially tends to bully other cats.  Amelia is fairly “chatty” and likes a good conversation with her person. She’s independent – preferring to be near or next to, rather than on top of. And she’s incredibly adaptable to new surroundings.

She’ll happily “hang out” with you just for your presence. Neither overly demanding nor overly cloying, she’s a mature creature with her own, very special presence.
